Get out of town!

Last weekend Jack and I met my Mom and Muggs in St. George. We had so much fun shopping, going out to eat, and hanging out. The drive was a little crazy... but we had a blast.

The water was really cold... 58 degrees cold... I think Jack was a little shocked.
Once he got used to the temp, we couldn't keep him out!
Spencer is such a bully! He threw a bucket full of water in Jack's face! I am sure this doesn't surprise many of you.

Happy Birthday Jack!

My little jackpot is all grown up! We celebrated Jack's first birthday tonight with some of our friends... and Jack's friends of course. Jack loves having people over, but he was pretty clueless that all of the fuss was about him. It is a good thing he had his older and more mature friend, Cate, to help him open all of his presents. Jack was showered with gifts from his doting grandparents and our thoughtful friends. Thank you everyone.

We let Jack eat his very own birthday cake. I thought he would just dive right in (like his mom usually does) but he was very slow and serious... one little nibble at a time... that didn't last too long. I will resist the urge to post every frosting face picture, I will limit the blog to just a few.

I started babysitting this beautiful baby girl three times a week. Jack is having so much fun showing her the ropes... They follow each other from room to room.

We think that Jack doesn't have enough energy, so we started giving him Monster energy drinks... like father like son! I am totally kidding.
