Beach Babes

Another hot day in San Diego meant we were headed straight to the beach... after nap time of course. Jack is obsessed with the beach! He loves the sun, the sand, and especially the cold water. It took Tate and Beck a little longer to warm up, but by the end of the day all three toddlers were covered in sand (all the sunscreen helps it to really stick!)

The weather in San Diego has been really hot the last couple of days... so Tira and I decided to have a mini pool party with our babes. They loved playing in the water together... it was really cute!

My hilarious friend Kellie (kelandgreg.blogspot.com) challenged everyone to post the worst picture of themselves on their blog... in order to encourage more "real" blog postings. Well, I was definitely up for the challenge! I love terrible pictures, they make me laugh so hard! I had many to choose from, but these two are my favorite. Believe it or not, but my mom and I actually ran a couple of errands wearing these darling hobo outfits!

La Jolla Cove

La Jolla Cove is one of my favorite places in San Diego... We love to start at Prospect Street and walk all the way to Pearl Street... and seal and people watch all along the way. Sometimes if I am lucky we even stop for an icecream cone.

I finally have a husband!

The last week has been so much fun! Spencer finished his last final one week ago, and we have been celebrating ever since. I am enjoying ever minute of having Spencer around... especially because I know it will not last... he will be starting a clerkship in a couple of days. I know it is crazy how many pictures I am posting lately... but poor Spen is home alone and I think he is feeling pretty left out of all the fun. So, for the next week I will be posting a little over a million pictures of Jack.

Easter Party

Jack went to his first Christensen Family Easter Party on Saturday. He was overwhelmed by all of the people, but I think he had fun dying his egg. I loved catching up with my in-laws, and seeing my nieces and nephews. It is so crazy how quickly kids grow up!

Ladies of Leisure Lunch

It was so fun to catch up with everybody at lunch. My overactive tear ducts were really working, I was laughing so hard I continually had to wipe off the mascara streaming down my face. I have the cutest friends!

Jack loved hanging out at the pool today... especially the hot tub! We were hoping for warmer weather, but it was nice just hanging outside.

A day at the pool with Auntie Kace

Today Jack and I drove up to Newport to hang-out with Kacie (she is visiting Katie Weaver this weekend). I am always surprised by how quickly the drive goes by. I loved hanging out with Kacie. It feels like forever since the two of us have spent time together. Kacie of course looks beautiful and fabulous... and Jack is as cute as they come... Jack and Simmone enjoyed their first bath together tonight. Everything was going well until Jack pulled the switch for the shower... and then it was pure pandemonium! Both the babes started screaming and slipping all over the place... and things were going so well.
